USAF Associations Patches began when I asked "Why don't we have patches?" I was part of an Air Force reunion group of Vietnam era C-7a personnel, mostly pilots. Though there had been some talk about making our patches, nobody had yet done the research or made the investment to make it happen.
Why make patches? There is an enjoyment in mutual association and accomplishment. A strong camraderie is formed in the stress of wartime service. A number of our comrades lost their lives. Freedom is not free. The patches are reminders of those who offered their service, and often their lives, for all of us.
If you would like to purchase some of the patches displayed on the C-7a page, or have patches of your own made, contact me using the email addresses on the Contact Me page.
